Mockfest

Is it Monday already? So this weekend, we, in place of Bockfest in New Ulm which has been our tradition for a few years now, had a Mockfest. Us,
Kemps, and Shea's headed downtown for a dinner at Manny's Steakhouse. The plunger is a Bockfest staple, carried by the honorary Bockmeister, so to carry tradition, we named Denny the official Mockmeister of 2006. So as we are walking to dinner, Manny's has their "Hall of Fame" on the wall of well known people that have dined there, etc.. .and there is my brother on the wall, in a frame-2nd from the left. What the heck?? I call him immediately- "hey, do you know you are on the wall in the Hyatt hotel by Manny's?". Of course he knew that. The tall guy is his boss and took them out. He does okay, let's just say that. Normal people don't order $600. shots of Port wine. Oh to live the high life. Oh, sorry, back to my story. I had some Cosmos, Kirk had some Zinfandel. I had Crab Legs- all 2lbs- i know i said i was excited for steak, but the crab is so good there too, Kirk had a Strip.
We went to Brit's pub afterwards for a beer, and then back to the hotel for a night cap. Kirk was tired. or I mean "tired".
We had a super fun night and I missed my Peyton in the morning and couldn't wait to see her.
