HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!

We had a great 1st Mother's Day. We made it to church..barely- Peyton usually is our alarm clock around 7am, so we were surprised when we woke up at 8:30 am and Peyton was still quiet. She was in her crib playing with her mobile- it's the Fisher Price Aquarium one that can turn off and on, etc. She wore her pretty new dress. We went to brunch with my mom and 2 brothers at Bonfire, it was pretty good! Peyton saw a 13 month boy sitting behind us and they flirted! She got excited and was "talking" and the little boy was near her and pointed and smiled and he walked over, yes he was walking pretty good, and they stared at each other and "talked". It was SO cute! Must be the big blue eyes she has. Her hair looks red in these pics but it really isn't red- odd!
Kirk bought me a tree from Peyton, so the tree can grow with her and we'll have it as long as we are in this house. Love that idea. It'll grow as our family grows.
