Peyton woke up two nights in a row around 3 am crying and just not really wanting to go back to bed. We chalked it up her getting her 2 bottom eye teeth in. Sunday when she woke up at 3am, she was boiling and had a fever. Since she had a fever, daycare will not take her for 24 hours. I stayed home with her and decided to bring her to the dr. just in case. Well, she ended up having an ear infection AND strep. Poor girl. We got her some Amoxicilan and she was better in no time. That explained why she only wanted to eat yogurt and mandarin oranges, nice and cold on her throat vs. the toast we gave her that morning. She's back to normal and took her medicine just fine...wouldn't you if your parents called it "candy" !?
