Sidney Markie

I added a link on my blog list for her website. It's Luke and Chrissy Murray's niece- she has a disease where she can not absorb nutrients through her intestines, resulting in a 7 organ transplant at the age of 7.5 months. The doctors figured she would adapt better having all the organs be from the same origin. So far, in the amazing recovery she's had thus far, she will need another new kidney. They transplanted the 2 donor kidneys and left her native one in and the 2 aren't taking very well, so she's back on the kidney donor list again. I'm drawn to this story because she was born only a week or so before Ashley and she reminds me of Ashley with the big cheeks. My heart breaks for the family and I thank God my girls are so healthy. Courtney (mom) updates her progress in a journal and attaches Photo Albums under the Home page (scroll to the bottom). I just felt the need to include it in my blog roll. She's such a cute baby, I hope she can continue to thrive.
