1. Peyton weighs a big 27 lbs.
2. She's been scared to go to sleep the last couple of weeks -she got freaked out by the storms- thunder- and fireworks. She wanted to be rocked to sleep or for me not to leave her bedroom until she was sleeping, she'd say- mommy, keep me comp-a-tee. Finally had to put a stop to the behavior and as much as it pained me to hear her scream, I had to let her cry/scream it out and go to bed by herself without me coming in and in and in. She cried for about 10 min. Sunday and Monday night and then last night, a breakthrough. She went to bed without crying. Holy cow. THat remedy works I guess.
3. If Peyton scrapes her knee, it's the biggest drama of all time- I have a sick knee mom, I'll take my bath next time. (she lost that argument by the way, cried the whole bath, but we got it done.)
4. She loves her baby sis Ashee- says "ashee, come to me". and holds her arms out. She helped Ashee walk- held her hands and walked her along, it was so sweet to watch.
5. Peyton saw a plumber crack on a bday card (thank you dad and Janet!) and said mommy- why is his butt out?
6. Peyton had a bad dream and woke up saying -daddy, but there are trees outside. (um, yes). and in the morning she said, daddy, there are only little trees left - so we think it was a bad dream, Kirk told her he cut down the bad trees.
7. She was mad she had to go to bed and asked -why do you get to stay up late, mommy.
8. She brushes my hair and Kirk asked, Peyton, comb daddy's hair. She said- no, daddy, you don't have enough hair. Nice Peyton!
9. "Mommy, I love you really much."
10. I said Peyton, did you go poopey? She said - no, just a little toot. - if you hear her toots, sometimes you can't tell if they are hers or her dads!
