We are off for an adventurous weekend of driving and seeing family. We are going to the cabin and then heading to Fargo on Saturday for my cousin Dominic's wedding. Dominic is on my dad's side of the family and we don't see them very often, so it's a nice chance to see everyone. (Welcome home, Dom! He was in Afghanistan for a short tour since May.) We are coming back to the cabin after the wedding and staying until Sunday. 2 hrs to Glenwood, 2 hours to Fargo, and 2 hours back, and then 2 hours home on Sunday. Gas is cheap, right!?
Ashley is in the stage where she throws everything and gets antsy in the car very easily. Not just drops it or sets it to the side, but THROWS it. And then cries because it's gone. It's super fun driving and taking off your seat belt to turn around and give her something, anything, just to make her quiet, and it lasts for oh.....0005 seconds. Fun times.The 2 hr ride is teaching us patience and of course, how to use ear plugs. jk.
