My brother, me, Jess, and Sarah ran our first 5k (3.1 miles) Matt has a run a marathon and a half marathon, but never a 5k. We ran this in support of the American Cancer Society. Our friend Leah's parents' company, AMI-Imaging of Bloomington sponsored this event. It was a comfortable morning...in the shade. It quickly got warm and ended up being in the high 80's. The course was around Lake Normandale in Bloomington.

Jess and I paced together, so it was fun to run with someone. Kirk and the girls were there to watch and cheer me on, how sweet.
