We are at it again, another 5k. Jess, Sarah, and I. This morning it was actually pretty cold. I ran with my long sleeves on.
At the starting line! All of a sudden the horn sounded without warning the race was about to start, so good thing we were in line ready to go. About 40 people were still in line at the Biffy's.
The course was IN the MN Zoo, which was pretty cool. I am way back there in the black by the way. The course started to the right of the Puma Pavilion, into the zoo, left- and down the ramp by the monkeys, left towards and through the bear exhibit (it was so cute - 3 bears were standing up against the glass watching us all run by-I'm sure they could hear the footsteps roaring by), left past the tigers, around the farm, took a left by the playground there (2 miles at that point) and then over the bridge, went next to the food court, and back out to where we came. It was warm by the farm, but for the most part it was pretty cool. It was a great run.
