Where have we been!

I know, it's been a few weeks. Well, just to update on what's been going on...hmmm. Peyton is 37 points (her word for pounds) and Ashley is 24 pounds, still a peanut. We (Kirk!) are working on getting Ashley off her kiki (pacifier)- I swear it is her best friend. The kiki is a package deal with her blanket. She will get hurt and say, "Mommy, kiki-blankey". If she gets her blanket, she asks immediately for her kiki. It's well beyond time to take her off, but since she is my baby, I admit I have turned a blind eye to it. BUT, I don't want her teeth to be all bucked, so it IS time. Peyton is in another year of gymnastics and is working hard on cartwheels and the running and jumping thing, she's having a hard time with it (to lead up to vaulting). We went to a gymnastics meet over the weekend to watch Molly Rae and Peyton was so excited. Santa was there and even gave her a medal (no, she didn't compete).

On a sad note, my great-uncle Ray passed away this week, he was 94. Lived a long and happy life and he is now with his sister, Izzy, and brother- my grandpa Farmer. RIP and you will be missed Uncle Ray. Long live the corn story!

Peyton got her first taste of donating this past Sunday. We brought some toys to church and included was a Memory game, a fold up dolly stroller, some Matchbox car "towns" and a few other things and of course Peyton was mad she was giving away the stroller, but she put it down and then in a 4 year old mentality, asked, "Mom, can I have that for my birthday" as she pointed to another toy." She didn't quite get it, but teaching her at a young age will be a good character builder and to show her to take care of the less fortunate.

Ashley is still in her crib, she will climb into it all the time, but never crawls out- that works! No signs of a big girl bed for this one yet.

I will get some pics posted soon of the lil' ladies.
