Sisters

I was gone last night for my monthly JUGs dinner- (Just Us Girls, 6 of us from high school get together once a month for a fun dinner and conversation) at Redstone and while I was out, daddy and the girls had a good time without me. They were playing "house" and the baby was the monkey you see here. *disclaimer* don't look at the messy room!
After "house" they went for a walk. Peyton takes her trike and it never fails, half way through she gets tired and wants me to carry it home. Not sure if she played that card with Kirk though. Ashley will be 3 next month already! She is talking more and more like a big girl. She will get out of her bed (we took the rails off her crib 2 weeks ago so it's more of a day-bed style) and go into the bonus room, which is also their playroom with a TV (which is on Nick JR about 99.5% of the time) and turn it on and watch cartoons with her blankey. Never wakes us up, just gets up and chills. This morning however, Kirk woke up thinking, "What is that noise, is it the fan or something?" Nope, Ashee was laying on floor having the hiccups. She's so funny.
Peyton finished her first year of Sunday School in May, and second full year of gymnastics. Even Ashley got to be in class this year. P will start full time pre-school this fall. Her daycare teaches her all of that cirriculum already, including Spanish, but we thought it would be a good idea to get her in a new setting with new kids to really prepare her for a school setting. She's been seeing the same few kids since she was 18 months. We thought also it would be a good chance for her to practice her social skills in meeting new friends, which I'm sure she will have no problem with. She's a bit on the shy/sensitive side, but yet she loves new friends, so she may do just fine.
We are excited for a fun summer!
