March 20th of this year, my grandma Judy made her way to Heaven. She was 91- a full life to say the least! I will remember playing "store" with her, running through her sprinkler, the smell of ham that always seemed to be cooking at her house. Sleeping over and the next day we would have silver dollar pancakes at Perkins, go to Knollwood Mall and visit the pet store and Coachman Gifts- at the time I collected stickers, so I was in heaven at this store. I would come home and my blankie would smell like her home - that powdery-perfumy smell (not of ham!)- for days! I miss you grandma! This picture of Peyton is so sweet. She's been to 3 funerals and she gets pretty affected by them. This was her giving grandma a "hug".
I went with my mom as well, such a perfect Mother's Day.
