ACS 5k Run

This past Saturday, my friend's company hosted the 2nd Annual American Cancer Society 5k run at Normandale Lake in Blmgtn. My time this year was 32:28. Last year my time was 34:something. My goal was 32 minutes, but I'm blaming it on the 2 sections of standing water (15' long, about 4-5 inches high) that we had to run through from the rain the previous day. Mile 1 pace was 9:43 (personal best for me!) and mile 2 was about 10:20 or so. I don't have any pictures- Kirk was in Chicago for work so my mom had the girls. Oh well, it was fun!!
